Last Saturday night (finally able to post again) was the Australian Bat Clinic & Wildlife Trauma Centre annual fundraiser. Their were several animals on display, a crocodile, different lizards, frogs and snakes. Several of the people at the fundraiser also had had wildlife that they care for (Benny B made an appearance as well as two baby bats Trish currently feeds and nurses).

The fundraiser is completely organized by a volunteer and has been occurring for about four years now. Their was different finger foods available and different items being raffled off (none of which could fit in my suitcase). As I’ve previously mentioned the ABC & wildlife trauma centre is ran completely by volunteers and donations from the public. It was great to see people come together for a good cause.

If you are able to and would like to also donate to the cause or would like to sponsor/adopt a bat check them out:
