The next morning I was up early and decided to go for a morning run through Quarries park, another place Yadira suggested. She informed me the view of the city was beautiful, she was right and the sunrise (as the moon was still out) made it even more beautiful.
At first I was a little upset I didn’t have my headphones but I actually preferred being able to listen to the river and the other beautiful sounds of nature as I ran through the park. I also found a Labyrinth along the way. I had never heard of them before but it is an ancient practice said to help with balancing stress and reflecting on one’s life, so as I’m sure you can guess I enjoyed it.
After returning from my run is was still quite early and most places in Melbourne don’t open until around 10am so I decided to walk to Fitzroy garden. There I found more waterfalls (of course) and beautiful trees, I wish I actually had some knowledge about them and could decipher which kinds I’ve seen.
I then headed to the Melbourne museum bumping into another cathedral along the way.
