San Carlos to Alajuela

After a scenic 3+ hour ride through Naranjo, San Ruiz and several other areas I finally arrived in Alajuela that night. Costa Rica is a small country but because it is so monotonous is takes quite long to get from Point A to Point B.

My host in Alajuela offered to pick me up from the bus station when he realized I would be arriving late.
