Took a walk on the esplanade to remind myself how lucky I am to even be here right now!!

This painting cost roughly $2 million and caused extreme controversy when it was placed in the opera house. First it took attention away from the raw materials that were the main focus in the way Utzon designed and secondly many say it looks like a painting created by a child fingerprinting

Jørn Utzon wanted this view, the outside to be the most beautiful thing about the Opera House, it is why he clearly defied the rules of the competition and put the halls side to side instead of front to back
